Expérience fantastique: Our elderly dog has several health issues & was travelling abroad for the first time. We needed to find a vet for tapeworm treatment, but also in case she became unwell on our trip. A Google search brought up Lieve De Rycke. From our first email, nothing was too much trouble for this friendly vet. Lieve even offered to provide an EU pet passport, which saves us the time and cost of getting an AHC for each future trip, and she was happy to order in our dog's usual prescription food for us to collect. All prices charged were as quoted, and on testing the new passport at Le Shuttle, it was proclaimed "Perfect". We have no hesitation in highly recommending this vet.

Expérience fantastique: Lieve & Elien were excellent! We needed to get Rabies Titre tests done for our Dobermann, Rottweiler and Dutch Shepard for their Pet Passports. Everything was arranged via email beforehand and the clinic is very easy to get to from the motorway with on street parking outside. Lieve & Elien were very professional, caring, efficient and very easy to deal with. Both spoke excellent English. The appointment went flawlessly. Our dogs loved them. They will be our vet of choice when travelling in Europe!

Expérience fantastique: Dr Lieve and her assistant put me at ease when I visited with my two dachshund's for worming treatments and to get EU pet passports. The surgery is ideally situated and in easy walking distance of Brugge centre- alternatively plenty. Of parking outside. The surgery was very clean, warm and welcoming. Dr Lieve took time to explain everything to me and. Showed a genuine interest . I think it’s the best vet visit I’ve ever experienced. My dogs are usually very nervous of vets and shake- this was the first time they didn’t and were so contented. I will definitely return for worming treatments for the dogs (and maybe a waffle for me afterwards from Brugge itself). Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: As a certified Vet Tech in the states for over 10 years I can say that as both a pet owner as well as a veterinary professional I was very impressed with Dr. Lieve De Rycke. The first aspect was the ease of scheduling. I emailed an inquiry and received a prompt response to all of my questions. Dr. Lieve gathered the appropriate information prior to our appointment so on the day of the visit she was well prepared. Working in the industry I’m aware of what a hassle scheduling appointments can be and last minute on a Sunday we learned that we would be missing our appointment due to issues with paperwork and train travel with my little dog Copper. Dr. Lieve graciously helped us to reschedule the appointment to a later time that worked with our new train tickets. Additionally I found the prices competitive with other providers in the area and more than that I felt her services were worth the cost. All in all after our experience I would 100% recommend her services to all pet owners! Thank you Dr. Lieve!

Easy to find as it is not far from the nearby Bargeweg campsite and train station and only a couple of hours from Calais terminals.

Expérience fantastique: The best vet i’ve ever visited. Was recommended Lieve from a group on facebook regarding AHC for the tapeworm and asked to get an EU passport. Explained over email how nervous my dog is and how he physically shakes and freezes and she reassured me over email. On the day, both me and my partner could not believe our eyes, the appointment was so friendly, Bailey didn’t even realise where he was or that he’d been given a tablet and an injection, despite the fact we’d been stressing for days because he usually doesn’t eat outside the house. We’d even planned our whole day over the fact we were so sure that Bailey would feel traumatised as always, no disrespect to Lieve, just our past experiences with other vets, and we left within 10 minutes and sat aroundthe corner for what felt like forever in pure disbelief of how smoothly the appointment went, we didn’t know what to do with our day because now we didn’t need to do all of the extra steps to make Bailey feel better. I will 100% be returning to Lieve for all appointments for Bailey, I would drive to Bruge a thousand times over for Lieve, she’s truly amazing. She's a very nice lady and put Milo at ease before the injection. The paperwork was completed without fuss or delay. Parking is easy outside her clinic, but be aware the multitude of cyclists. From start to finish we had a great experience, she has a beautiful office in a residential area just outside the main town and when you enter you are the only ones there. Lieve replied in good time with a breakdown of treatments & prices, which, by the way, are very reasonable (especially compared to the extortionaterates in the uk). She was also able to accommodate our best date. We arrived a little early but as we arrived the previous appointment was just leaving. Lieve immediately made us feel welcome and had a lovely, friendly demeanour with us but, more importantly, our furs. This has to be by far the best experience we've ever had with a vet while travelling. We would highly recommend Lieve.
